Sometimes building a community means preserving what already exists.
Today, this home began a new journey as it is carefully moved to a new location where it will become part of a Habitat for Humanity project—creating an opportunity for another family to have a place to call home.
At Schmidt Homes, we're proud to be part of projects that go beyond construction. Seeing a home given a second chance instead of being torn down is a reminder that every home has a story, and sometimes the best chapter is still ahead.
We're grateful to everyone who helped make this move possible and to Habitat for Humanity for the incredible work they do in helping families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership.
