Finally got the season opener in at Attica last night, it was a bag of mixed results. Missed the setup by a mile in qualifying going 16th quick out of 26 cars. We got the car dialed in for the heat race winning from the pole. Started on the pole of the feature and led the first 23 laps then hit the wrong rut at the wrong time dropping back to finish 2nd.
Anyone who knows me knows my bad luck on opening nights at Attica since 2016, needless to say I’ll definitely take finishing 2nd on opening night and the car being in one piece at the end of the night lol
