THE WOODWORKERS CLUB OF NORWALK
IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS
(SORT OF).

Beginning Friday, May 1, we will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm—for phone orders and curbside pickup only. We’ll be closed Sundays and Mondays. Here’s how this will work:

1. Shop online. Go to www.woodcraft.com to find the products you want. Be sure to write down the item number and model number for each item. This will help us process your order faster.

2. Place your order by calling us at 203-847-9663. If you have a large order, you can email it to: [email protected]. Whether you call or email, please give us a return phone number.

3. We’ll process your order. We’ll call you to schedule a pick-up time and take your payment information. All orders have to be made by credit card at this time; sorry, but we can’t take cash or checks.

4. Call us when you arrive. We’ll bring the order to your vehicle.

That’s all there is to it! We hope that you and those close to you are healthy and safe, and that we can help you find what you need to do some woodworking while you wait for the coronavirus crisis to ease.

We’re waiting for guidelines from the state of Connecticut to let us know when we can restart our classes and reopen the woodworkers club.

Please note: we do NOT have any N-95 masks in stock and do not expect any in the foreseeable future.

Woodcraft offers over 20,000 woodworking tools, woodworking plans, woodworking supplies for the passionate woodworker.

We have tried to keep pace with the rapidly changing response to the coronavirus pandemic by canceling or postponing classes and shortening the hours for the store and shop. But on March 20, Gov. Ned Lamont issued an executive order directing Connecticut residents to “Stay Safe, Stay at Home” and curtail non-essential services.
We will follow that order, of course. Beginning Monday, March 23, our store and shop will be closed until further notice. We all must work together to combat the pandemic. And, as always, the health and safety of our friends, customers, and students is our first priority.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Stay safe,
John and Ginny Matchak

New Store Hours
In order to help keep our community safe, as we deal with the impact of the coronavirus, we are temporarily changing the hours for the store and the shop:
Store
Monday - Saturday: 10 am - 6 pm
Sunday: Noon - 5 pm
Shop
Monday - Friday: Noon - 5:30 pm
Saturday: 9 am - 5:30 pm
Sunday: Noon - 5:30 pm

We have also canceled or postponed classes and will reschedule them as soon as we can. We are also exploring the possibility to conduct some classes via a remote video link. We hope to give you more information about that soon.

Thank you for understanding, and please stay safe.

Coping with the Coronavirus
Our classes are limited to a small number of participants, so we plan to continue running them as usual. Still, we know that this is a time for caution in order to stay healthy. So we ask you to please refrain from attending a class if you don’t feel well. If you aren’t comfortable attending a class, fearing the coronavirus, we will be happy to reschedule you in a future session or refund your tuition.
Thanks and stay safe,
John & Ginny Matchak
