Established local contractor seeks experienced Office Admin/ Customer Service professional. Must have a minimum of 3 years similar office experience and be a self starter. Must have excellent customer service, phone and scheduling skills. Construction experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Outlook, and Access is a plus). Must be looking for long term commitment.
Job Description: Administrative Assistant/ Customer Service
This is an all-encompassing general office position. Heavy scheduling of evaluations and installations via phone and email. Customer correspondence and answering questions via phone and email. Preparing paperwork for Evaluators and Installers. Heavy data input, processing proposals, final paperwork, and job costing. Create invoices and process Accounts Receivables. Follow up on past due Invoices. Print reports as requested. Follow up with open proposals. Filing. As requested create Staples orders for Office Supplies, place materials orders over the phone or via email, change your ink cartridge and/ or maintain your general office environment. Emptying trash/ recycling, watering plants.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: On a continuous basis, sit at a desk for long periods of time in front of a computer screen: intermittently twist to reach equipment or supplies surrounding desk. Perform simple grasping and fine manipulation, strength to lift files weighing up to 20 lbs., use telephone and computer keyboard on a daily basis, occasionally is required to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.
