It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Jon Opfell, our long-time Chief Operating Officer, this week.

Jon was an integral part of our company and played a crucial role in transforming PRECISION from a small two-person firm into a 50-employee organization. Over his more than 30 years with us, we completed over a billion dollars in construction projects and more than 50,000 housing units.

Jon was known for his politeness, kindness, and empathy toward everyone he met. He had a passion for many things, including airplanes, travel, socializing, and, especially, the relationships he cultivated.

You will be greatly missed, Jon.

Dear friends and colleagues,

We are deeply saddened to inform you that our colleague, Nick Johnson, recently passed away. Nick was one of our all-star team members whose dedication, attention to detail, and expertise earned him distinct respect and accolades. His passing leaves us in puddles... We will never forget his genuine good heart, humility, and sense of humor and we are grateful for the time we were blessed to call him our friend.

As his passing was entirely unexpected, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating in his honor to the GoFundMe created by his brother to cover expenses.

As genuine and disciplined as they come, Charles Wade is an exceptional project manager, who defines what excellence is about in our industry.

Charles launched his career as a home builder in Texas and later transitioned to working in multifamily housing when he joined PRECISION nearly 14 years ago. He has been involved in the construction industry for his entire life, with fond memories of watching his father build cabinets in his workshop from a young age. As he grew older, his father taught him how to ride a 1952 Panhead motorcycle, sparking a lifelong passion. Over the years, he’s owned several motorcycles and currently has his eye on a M1000XR. Despite some recent health challenges, he's revving to hit the open road and explore more scenic routes very soon!
