We are excited to announce Chase Melton as our new Estimating Intern from Eastern Michigan University. He is a rising star in the construction industry. By tackling takeoffs for multiple projects, Chase is providing bid support to the University of Michigan's Sparrow Mason Clinic and sharpening his estimating skills every day with our project teams and senior estimators. As Chase learns Autodesk software, conducts walk-throughs for pre-bids, and drafts RFIs, he is building confidence in evaluating projects with our team of dedicated estimators.

Cars and Coffee was a fantastic success, bringing together car enthusiasts and supporters to raise awareness and funds for a great cause! We are deeply grateful to everyone who showcased their cars, came to admire them, and donated to the DeMaria With Heart Team for the Heart Walk. The Metro Detroit Heart and Stroke Walk was a powerful way to join the fight against heart disease and stroke. It supported life-saving research, and promotes health equity in partnership with the American Heart Association. If you couldn’t join us on Saturday, you can still make a meaningful difference. Join us in celebrating Nathan Meyer, the latest addition to our team as a Project Engineer Intern and a rising star in construction, pursuing his degree at Eastern Michigan University!

Nathan infuses our team with energy, creativity, and a drive to grow as he works toward his Construction Management goals. Nathan’s journey with DeMaria kicked-started at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute Addition. With this big project recently breaking ground, Nathan has gained hands-on experience in underground utility work, immersing himself fully in the process. He has dedicated himself to supporting a wide range of tasks, balancing supervision and management responsibilities throughout his weeks. Nathan has actively participated in meeting preparation, as this project involves numerous coordination efforts. With Nathan's energy, enthusiasm, and growing expertise, we are excited to have him on our team this year!

He’s already diving into the Grosse Ile High School Renovation, getting hands-on experience and making a real impact. Plus, he’s leveling up his skills in the process, logistics, and coordination that are required on a large-scale renovation with tight time constraints through shadowing Luc, Project Engineer, Joe, Project Superintendent, and Paul, Project Manager, basically, all the tools to crush it in his future career!
