When patching, not using the same material compatible to the roof, is a short time quick fix. The reason is because they expand and contract and different speeds which eventually makes them separate.

Roof inspections are very important , PLUS using the proper materials when repairing a roof. Found this nail in the middle of a metal roof. As you can see it is rusting out the decking. Eventually it will be a hole.

During roofing inspections we find many little gardens on roofs. Debris on roofs is not good. We clean and remove these things.

Inspection of your roof is vital to prevent leaks before they get bad. We found this tear in the membrane while returning to fix a leak from ice dam build up the week before. With all of the snow off of the roof, we were able to find this tear. There was no indication inside of the roof leaking even though it was.
