Leadership isn’t taught in a classroom. It’s built in the field.
This week, I had our sales reps and office staff suit up and help install a roof on our pastor’s home.
Not for content.
Not for show.
But for understanding.
When you’ve felt the weight of the bundles, pulled tear-off, set shingles, and worked side-by-side, something changes.
You gain:
• Real respect for the men and women doing the installs
• A deeper understanding of what homeowners are trusting us with
• Better communication in the field and in the office
• Stronger leadership and tighter teamwork
Our sales team doesn’t just sell roofs.
They understand what it takes to build one.
Our office team doesn’t just push paperwork.
They see the work behind every invoice, schedule, and detail.
This is how you train people to serve customers better.
This is how you build respect across roles.
This is how you build a team that’s truly Second to None.
Grateful for a team willing to step up, get uncomfortable, and learn by doing. 💪
