I’ve spent the better part of a day flattening and sanding some large glue up panels for two white oak projects I’m working on - the large one is a top for a laundry room folding table I’ve already built, and the other two are tops to a matching pair of nightstands I’ve just started.
Sanding is tedious and not that fun, plus white oak is HARD so it’s slow going. However, a good finish can be ruined by flaws left during sanding so it needs to be done right. On the bright side, they’re done except minor finish sanding and they look good!
