The KRU is headed to Procore Technologies Groundbreak in Orlando! 🌴

Groundbreak brings the construction community together for industry insights, breakout sessions, networking and a look at what’s ahead for construction technology. Jeff Vis and Kuy Parker will be there October 21-22 to connect with fellow Procore users and bring new ideas back to KCC.

While you’re there, catch Jeff as he hosts a group Braindate on “Scalable Project Setup: Standardizing Your Launch Playbook” on October 21 from 3:00-3:45 PM EDT.

🤠 Giddy up! The KRU showed off its Western spirit at ASA Chicago's Meet the GCs on Tuesday!

We had a great time connecting with industry partners, subcontractors and local construction professionals throughout the evening. Events like Meet the GCs are a great reminder of the relationships and partnerships that help drive our industry forward.

Congratulations to our lucky raffle winner, Greg Terwilliger from ECS Midwest, LLC, for taking home our Western-themed giveaway! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and spent time with our team.

Please join us in welcoming Colin Laughlin to the KRU as our new Co-Chief Financial Officer.

Colin brings nearly two decades of finance and leadership experience in the construction industry. Most recently, he served as Director of Finance for a large Chicago-based general contractor, advising ownership and executive leadership and providing financial oversight for complex construction operations.

Colin will work alongside longtime CFO Gary Dupuis as part of a planned leadership transition. After more than 30 years of dedicated service, Gary will retire in the first quarter of 2027. During the transition, Gary and Colin will work together to ensure continuity, knowledge transfer and support the company's continued growth and success.

"Colin's construction-industry experience, financial perspective and people-focused approach to leadership make him a strong addition to the Krusinski team," said President & CEO Jeff Krusinski. "Having Gary and Colin work together provides an invaluable opportunity to ensure continuity, transfer institutional knowledge and position the company for its next chapter."

Our KRU got to experience everything Altorfer Caterpillar has to offer and find out what it really means to be an “Operator for a Day!” 🚜

We kicked off the day with a facility tour, learning more about the equipment and the work that goes into daily operations. After a safety briefing, it was time to hit the yard and get behind the controls of an excavator, front loader and skid steer. Experiencing the power and technology of these machines firsthand gave our KRU a whole new appreciation for the skilled operators who keep jobsites moving every day.

A BIG thank you to the Altorfer CAT team for giving us this incredible hands-on experience, and to Curran Contracting Company for making it all possible!
