Ann Lazarowicz, a beacon of warmth and kindness, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at the age of 101. Born on July 17, 1924, in Chicago, she lived a life marked by an outgoing spirit, boundless love, and a caring heart that touched all who knew her.

Ann’s vivacious personality was reflected in her passions. She loved dancing, where her joyful energy could light up any room, and cooking, through which she expressed her love and creativity for family and friends. Beyond her personal joys, Ann dedicated much of her life to volunteering in hospitals, assisting and comforting those in need with compassionate hands and a gentle smile.

Family was the cornerstone of Ann’s existence. She is lovingly remembered by her son Dennis (Evelina), and cherished grandchildren Ron (Renee), Richard (Melissa), Donna (Dave) Her legacy extends to a wonderful array of great-grandchildren—Rylan, Joshua, Austen, Jaqui, Cody, and Cole—as well as great-great-grandchildren Willow, Lainey, Carter, and Tatumn, who brought immense joy to her later years. Ann’s life was also brightened by many nieces, nephews, and a multitude of dear friends who will miss her dearly.

She endured profound losses with grace, having been preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Lazarowicz, and her daughter, Diane Marec. Despite these deep sorrows, Ann’s spirit remained resilient, never ceasing to offer love and support to those around her.

The community will gather to celebrate Ann’s remarkable life with a visitation on June 20, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home, located at 15618 S Cicero Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452. Following this, a burial service will take place at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum at 6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until 2:00 p.m.

Ann Lazarowicz’s enduring compassion, vibrant spirit, and loving nature have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, guiding them with the same warmth and kindness she so generously shared throughout her extraordinary life.

Michael Alan Perry

Michael (aka Mike, MAP, and Macgyver) born January 26th, 1956 passed after a hard fought battle with cancer at home with his wife and his loyal shadow dog Quinn on May 18th, 2026 at the age of 70.Michael is survived by his loving wife Susan of 48 years, his children Tracy Ludwig, Andrea (Robert) Kelly, and Christopher (Mary); his grandchildren Erin and Jeremy Ludwig, Emma, Olivia, and Bobby Kelly, and Eleanor Perry; sister Michele (Robert) Bean; a brother; in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents Thomas F. Perry Jr and Alice (Mortier) Perry.Michael was a life long resident of Country Club Hills attending School district 160 and then Rich Central High School. He met his wife Susan working at Garofalos in town.

From a young age, Michael could be found tinkering around and taking apart various objects to find out how they worked, how it could be made better, and if broken, how it could be fixed. Forever a servant and a tinkerer, from working on his and friends cars, lawnmowers, bicycles, and everything else.Michael worked at the former Mobil gas station on 183rd and Pulaski for many years until 1990 when he began working at Monroe Truck Equipment out of Joliet, IL and also started his career at the Country Club Hills Fire Department which he served for 30 years retiring in January of 2020 at the rank of Lieutenant and Master Mr. Fix it. After leaving Monroe and the fire department, he went to work for the City of Country Club Hills Public Works and as a commissioner for the Police and Fire commission until shortly before his passing
Always the man to share his skills, knowledge, words of wisdom or fix your whatchamacallit with duct tape, his pocket knife and the part he had "sitting in the garage" he will forever be missed by all that ever got asked by him, "WHATTAYADOIN?!"

Please join us for a celebration of life on June 14th, 2026 from 12pm-5pm at McKenzie Funeral Home in Oak Forest, Illinois. Guests are encouraged to wear outfits that would rival the weirdest of Michael, bring fun/loving stories, and share at least one Perry-ism or bit of knowledge that Michael had shared with you. A fire department walk through will commence at 4pm with line up at 3:30pm.

Ronald (Ron) W. Perlikiewicz passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on April 23, 2026, at the age of 88. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Lorae, whom he shared 65 beautiful years with, and his loving children Jane (John) Hayes, Jim (Lynette) Perlikiewicz and Jeanne (Steve) Wegner. Cherished Papa of Anita Homco, Nichole Bednarz, Johnny (Julia) Hayes & Jackson Bednarz (great-grandson). Preceded in death by his son, Joseph Perlikiewicz.

Ron was born on April 20, 1938, to Walter and Jean Perlikiewicz in Chicago, Illinois. He married the love of his life, Lorae, and together they made their home in Oak Forest, Illinois, where they lovingly raised their four children.

Ron was a proud graduate of the Chicago Conservatory of Music. A gifted musician, he devoted his career to music-sharing his knowledge through music education, selling musical instruments, and providing entertainment to others.

Known for his kind heart, loving nature, and generous spirit, Ron treasured time with family and friends. He took special joy in holiday traditions, proudly sharing the Polish customs that had been passed down through his family for generations.

Ron will be deeply missed and forever remembered. His spirit lives on in the people he loved and the lives he touched.

A visitation for Ron will be held Monday, April 27, 2026, from 3pm-8pm at McKenzie Funeral Home 15618 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Forest, IL 60452.

Funeral will be Tuesday, April 28 at 9am from the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15681 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Forest to St. George Church, 6707 175th St. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Mass at 10am.

Donna moved to Oak Forest in 1979 where she raised her 3 daughters, mother to Lydia Bellamy-Palma (the late Dominic), the late Melissa Bellamy, and Janine (Matthew) Polley. Grandmother to Brittany Fischer (Daniel Hoff), Giavanna Capuzzi, Olivia Capuzzi, Tristan Schwark, Makaylah Schwark (Daniel Radz), and Trenten Schwark. Great grandmother to Madilyn Fischer. Sister to Russel Weiland (Laura), Larry Weiland (Sue), and James Weiland (Tiffany), late Richard Weiland, also survived by Jennipher Palma (who was like a daughter to her).

Donna owned FPI and Associates, where she was a Registered Represenative and she worked alongside her 2 daughters for over 30 years. She befriended so many colleagues at Madison Avenue Securities and loved all of her clients. She had a heart of gold and opened her home and heart to everyone. She made everyone feel like they were family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and always enjoyed having family and friends around for her annual decorating. There was always laughter, love and food to feed an army. She loved going to Disney World, especially with her grandchildren, and loved spending time with family, going to the casino, and game nights with friends and family.

Any donations should be allocated toward the American Cancer Society.

Beltrame, Aldo G., a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, served in the Korean War, age 92 of Oak Forest, formerly of Roseland, passed away peacefully in front of family on March 29, 2026. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Iris, his parents Antonio and Isabella and great granddaughter Isabella. Loving father of Laura, Rick (Kristin), Beverly (Steve) Klir and Michael (Michelle). Cherished grandfather of Nickolas (Jennifer), Jacklyn (Zach), Anthony (Ashley), Arielle (Tony), Nicholas (Melissa), Vincent, Mark (Faye), Kaylee (TJ), Gavin and Dylan. Dearest great-grandfather of Jacob, Gianna, Gabriela, Colin, Grayson, Emma and Adeline. Aldo’s greatest joys included his 68 years of marriage to Iris, traveling with family and friends, creating memories with loved ones and cheering on his beloved Chicago Bears.

Frank Zenek, 78, of Peotone, passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2026.

Frank was a lifelong resident of Markham, but had recently relocated to Peotone to be closer to his family who were helping to care for him.

Frank was known as a caring, generous man who loved his family and was always willing to help someone however he could. He was the owner / operator of Ace Heating and Cooling, keeping local residents (and every one of his friends / family) in a comfortable climate all year round.

Frank enjoyed spending time with family, relaxing at Lake Wisconsin, and watching a beautiful sunset. He loved to watch sports, especially the Cubs. He had a knack for finding old westerns or a Star Trek rerun on any TV in any area.

He also enjoyed weekly lunches with lifelong friends at Clovers. His love of sports was unparalleled, regularly attending the games his grandchildren were playing. He was such a fixture at these games, that everyone on the teams referred to him as “Papa” or “Coach Papa.”

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marian, brothers Edward and Gerald, sister Dorothy, and grandson Joseph.

He is survived by his brother Jack, sister Janet (Babe), daughters Tina (Jason), Jacky, Dawn (Lawrence), grandchildren Kristin (Jake), Kayla (Chris), Kyle, Alexis, Zachery, and great grandchildren Henry and Lanie.

Frank was a blessing to have in our lives and he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

Deborah L. Missaggia, aged 72, of Oak Forest, IL, passed away on February 26, 2026. Debby was born on December 26, 1953, in Chicago, IL to John and Lilian June Krolak. She grew up in Markham, IL and attended Fenger High School in Chicago where she met Gary Missaggia.

Throughout her life, Debby worked initially as a Bank Teller, then as a stay-at-home mother after the birth of her five children. She was known for being giving, caring, selfless and as the best cook and baker to all who knew her.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, baking, cooking, watching her kids, then grandchildren play the sports and activities they love and especially loved family holidays together at the house with everyone.

Debby is survived by her husband Gary Missaggia. Her children Bekki Missaggia, Megan Feguer (Sam), Tim Missaggia, Jon Missaggia (Amanda) and Emily Missaggia and her grandchildren Bailey, Harper, Luca and Piper. Her aunt Mary Ray and cousin Joyce Cimaroli, great niece Cheryl Williams.

She was preceded in death by father John Krolak, aunt Dollores Howlett, uncle Dom Cimaroli, aunt Sophie Cimaroli, mother Lilian June Krolak, uncle Richard Ray.

A visitation will be held on March 6, 2026, at McKenzie Funeral Home in Oak Forest from 9-11am. Followed by a mass at St. Damian Church at 11:30 then a burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.

Richard F. Chasny passed away on February 27, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Marie. Loving father of Lisa (Dan) Howe and Mark (Liz) Chasny. Cherished Poppy of Rebecca (fiancé Jacob Villasenor) Howe and Benjamin Howe.

He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Carlos Vallejo Jr. was born February 2nd, 1941 and passed on February 23rd, 2026. He was husband to Mirtelina Vallejo. Father to Veronica Vallejo and Anthony (Dora) Arboleda. Grampy to Liliana and Arielle Arboleda.

Mr Carlos was a retired Chicago Police Sgt. giving thirty two years to a job he loved. He also served his country in the U.S. Army. He was known for his wit and one-liners. He will be greatly missed by his family and those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.

Visitation will be on February 26th at McKenzie Funeral Home in Oak Forest on 156th and Cicero Ave. There will be a prayer service at 7pm and a funeral service on February 27th at Mckenzie Funeral Home starting at 11am and proceeding to Beverly Cemetery in Blue Island.

Mary made her faithful departure on the 28th of January, 2026. Behind, she left her husband Tom Nelson, siblings Phyliss and Patrick Moran, her daughter Cheri, her sons Thomas and, her son Daniel Nelson, married to Victoria Moore, who gave her three beloved grandchildren. She was a sister-in-law to William Zuziak and Les Seals, the late Ann, late Linda, late Margaret, late Melody, while also serving as a loving aunt to many and as a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Mary loved her three grandchildren: Antonio, Duke, and Dominic Nelson dearly. She could be described as loving, tender, and sweet to many. Mary spent her time with her family at her favorite restaurant Bartolinis, or at many numerous family events. She loved to strike up a conversation with anyone and could remember every single detail, while listening thoughtfully to what anyone had to say. There’s nothing Mary wouldn’t do for her family, and she was loved by many. She will be dearly missed.
