🌿 Four Years of Mountaineer Maintenance, your Grizzly Gardens Gardener 🌿
As I move through my fourth year in business, I am incredibly grateful to see not only the growth of Mountaineer Maintenance, but also the growing recognition within our community. Being nominated for Best of Whidbey is humbling all by itself. To simply have my little veteran-owned business mentioned among some of the best Whidbey has to offer is truly an honor. Every recommendation, nomination, kind word, and client who has trusted me with their property has helped grow this business into what it is today. Four years in, and I am still planting roots, growing, and incredibly thankful for this community. 💙🌱
Social Media Nomination: Social media for Mountaineer Maintenance has never been about overpowering your feed or posting every hour just to stay visible. I want this page to be a place where you can learn something, laugh a little, participate, and enjoy the garden along with me. 🌿 From educational posts and Garden Giggles, to good mornings, trivia and participation posts, seasonal tips, and of course sharing the work I’m proud to do, I try to keep it fun, useful, and genuine. Social media has given me another way to connect with this community without making it feel like one big advertisement. 💙🐝🌻
Lawn Maintenance nomination:
Last year I made the top five!! The year prior to that I came in seventh.
Sure, I don’t have a big crew or a fleet of trucks and that’s okay. Mountaineer Maintenance has always leaned toward the organic side of lawn care, choosing to work with nature rather than against it and avoiding chemicals whenever possible. 🐝🌿 I believe a beautiful lawn can coexist with pollinators, wildlife, healthy soil, and the environment around it. I may be a small veteran-owned business, but I put a whole lot of care into every property I maintain. So this year, I humbly ask for your nomination for Best of Whidbey Lawn Maintenance. To even be considered alongside the best our island has to offer would mean more than you know. 💚
Landscape nomination:

I don’t have a big landscaping crew, it’s just me, and I have learned that small, cozy landscapes are exactly my scale. I love taking those forgotten or unused corners of a yard and transforming them into spaces where my clients can sit, relax, enjoy nature, and feel proud of their property. 🌻 Whether I’m bringing in pollinator-friendly plants, creating wildlife habitat, or simply making a little corner feel like somewhere you want to spend time, my goal is to create landscapes that work with nature and with the people who live there. I humbly ask for your nomination for Best of Whidbey Landscaping. Being recognized for doing something I genuinely love would be an incredible honor. 💙🐝🦋
