Estimator/Project Manager Position Open at Midstate Landscaping & Excavating.
The key accountabilities for this role are:
•Prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing key metrics.
• Coordinate and supervise one or more construction projects. Interface with all parties involved in the project including clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Become thoroughly knowledgeable with project documents including plans and specifications
- Understand the project requirements
- Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
- Gathering first- hand information from sites, warehouses or other venues
- Prepare estimates for projects
- Building strong client relationships
- Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and employees
- Develop and maintain schedules for multiple projects
- Assist with field estimating and change orders
- Attend planning and coordination meetings
- Assist with purchasing, procurement, and subcontractor management
- Assist with preparing and transmitting submittals
- Reconcile vendor, client, and subcontractor invoicing discrepancies
