A front yard that looks good and works every day.

We built a stepped stone wall to hold the slope by the driveway and front door. Then we added a small bed with tough little evergreens—easy to care for, nice to look at all year.

The view to the door stays clean and straight, so pulling in feels easy. The wall's strong base and tight stones stop it from shifting when the ground freezes and thaws.

It’s a solid, good-looking setup that won’t ask much from you later.
