Residential construction projects have a lot of moving parts.

Plans, permits, inspections, materials, schedules, trades, deliveries, and inevitably, a few things that need to be figured out along the way.

Good project management is what keeps all of those pieces moving in the same direction.

For us, that means staying ahead of what's coming next, communicating with our clients throughout the build, and handling the day-to-day details so they don't have to.

A building is a big undertaking. Our job is to make the process of getting there feel a whole lot more manageable.

We've built a lot of restaurants over the years, and they're some of our favorite projects to take on.

They're also complicated builds.
Kitchens, bars, dining areas, electrical, plumbing, equipment, inspections—there's a lot that has to come together before the doors can open.

Every neighborhood has its own character. Every building has its own history. Every project comes with a different set of opportunities and challenges.

That's part of what keeps this work interesting.

After 18 years of building throughout the Bay Area, we've learned that good construction isn't about approaching every project the same way.

One of the things we enjoy about Matterport is that it lets people experience a project in a way photos never really can.

Every successful construction project starts long before demolition or framing begins.

It starts with conversations.

Let’s take a walk through one of our recent projects, Arthur Mac’s Little Snack.

This is one of those spaces that really comes together once you move through it. How everything connects, how the layout opens up, how the details carry from one area to the next.

That’s not something photos always capture on their own.

One thing we love about the work we do is that no project is ever the same.

From places to get new ink to ones to sit down for a decadent dinner, these recent projects span the gamut.

Starting a build can be a lot to take on.

There are decisions to make, timelines to manage, and a lot of moving pieces that don’t always line up perfectly.

That’s where our team comes in.

Our project managers stay close to the work, keep lines of communication clear, and calmly help guide decisions as the project moves forward.

No two restaurants run the same way, and their kitchens shouldn’t either.

What works for one space can completely fall apart in another. Volume, layout, staff flow, equipment, it all shapes how a kitchen needs to function.

That’s something we’re thinking about from the start. Not just how it fits on a plan, but how it’s going to hold up once it’s up and running.
