Many houses and apartment buildings built in the 1950’s & early 1960’s did not include dishwashers. They would not become standard in households until the early 1970’s. So it’s common for clients to want to include modern appliances to an existing kitchen.
Here is an example of what we have accomplished with a compact dishwasher installation by removing a section of the kitchen cabinets and drawers then plumbing in the water supply and waste line from the faucet and sink, hooking up electrical and lastly mounting and reframing the new dishwasher in place.

Majestic Yosemite Hotel built in 1927.

I replaced this old hot water heater from a bygone era. It was the only one surviving of its kind from this 1950’s apartment building that finally heated it’s last gallons of water. Made in Oakland by Hoyt Heater Co. when things were built to last.
