Tomorrow is the first day of school for Marion County, and that means school buses, busy crosswalks, and excited students will be everywhere.

Before you hit the road, take 30 seconds for this Back-to-School Driver Checklist:

✅ Slow down in school zones.
🛑 STOP when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended.
👀 Watch carefully for children—they can be unpredictable.
📱 Put the phone away and stay focused.
🚗 Double-check your mirrors and blind spots before backing up.
💡 Make sure your headlights, brake lights, and turn signals are working.
🛞 Check your tire pressure for a safer, smoother ride.
⛽ Don't start the week running on empty!

A few extra moments of caution can make all the difference. Let's help every student get to and from school safely this year.

Days like today remind us that building pools is about much more than concrete, steel, and water. With the real feel climbing well over 100°, every day brings its own challenges—heat, humidity, changing material setup times, and the countless variables that can make for a stressful job site.

Yet by God’s grace, our crews continue to show up with integrity, grit, and a commitment to excellence.

We are incredibly thankful for our hardworking, loyal team who pushes through difficult conditions without complaining and takes pride in turning out beautiful work. We are equally grateful for our wonderful customers who trust us with their homes and their vision.

Another project is underway!

This week, the High Pressure Shotcrete crew is in Lady Lake, Florida, shooting the shotcrete shell for the new Amenity Center Pool at The Reserve at Heritage Oaks.

Our team will be on-site for multiple days, putting in the hard work to bring this community pool to life. There’s nothing better than watching a project go from the early stages to a finished product that families will enjoy for years to come.

Now, just to beat the FL lightning ⚡️ to the finish!
