**Krushin It is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team.**
We are looking for a dependable, experienced operator who takes pride in their work, treats equipment properly, and can work safely and efficiently without needing constant supervision.
**Pay:** $20–$25/hour, depending on experience
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
**Hours:** 40+ hours available, with overtime as needed
**Location:** Based in Ocala, Florida
**Benefits:** Health benefits available
**Travel:** Occasional out-of-town travel may be required. Lodging and travel per diem are provided when applicable.
**Primary responsibilities include:**
* Safely and efficiently operate front-end loaders and excavators
* Load customer trucks and manage aggregate material around the yard or jobsite
* Accurately complete customer sales tickets and related paperwork
* Maintain clean, organized, and professional yard and jobsite conditions
* Assist with general site maintenance and housekeeping
* Occasionally hand-pick wood, plastic, and other contaminants from finished aggregate products
* Perform basic daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair concerns
* Assist the crew wherever needed to keep production moving
* Maintain a professional attitude and appearance when dealing with customers, contractors, and coworkers
**What we are looking for:**
* Previous experience operating heavy equipment, particularly front-end loaders and excavators
* Ability to operate equipment safely, smoothly, and productively
* Dependable attendance — you must be someone who shows up every day and on time
* Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of your work area
* Ability and willingness to work overtime when production demands it
* Willingness to travel during the workweek for out-of-town crushing projects when necessary
* Ability to work outdoors in Florida conditions
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also handling responsibilities independently
* Professional attitude, appearance, and communication with customers and coworkers
