A lot of people probably don’t realize that their favorite home builder has a long history in IT and still has a passion for software and technology.

Recently, a friend and I decided to dabble in OpenAI, Codex, and a little “vibe coding” to solve a problem almost all of us have: years, sometimes decades, of old contacts cluttering up our iPhones.

The result is Cinder. 🔥

Cinder makes cleaning up your contacts ridiculously simple. Just swipe to keep, delete, or update each contact card. I personally removed more than 80 old and forgotten contacts in just a few minutes.

Cinder is currently available for pre-order on the App Store, and for the next few days we’re making it free for friends, family, and followers who want to test drive it and give us feedback.

After the pre-order period, Cinder will be $4.99 as a one-time purchase. No subscription.
