Unpopular opinion:
The cheapest tree quote is usually the most expensive one.

Most homeowners don't realize there are two completely different types of tree companies:

Type 1: Professionals who invest in training, safety systems, insurance, and proper arboricultural practices.
Type 2: Guys with chainsaws who can give a price fast.

Here's the question nobody asks:
Why is one estimate thousands less?

Usually because something is missing:
• Insurance
• Safety equipment
• Proper rigging
• Professional training
• Time to do the job correctly

When safety gets skipped, quality usually gets skipped too.
That is when you see:
Bad pruning that kills trees
Torn up property
Half-finished cleanup
Avoided responsibility
Workers getting hurt.

A real professional knows tree work is controlled risk management, not just cutting wood.
So here's a question for homeowners:

Would you rather pay once for a professional… or risk paying twice for mistakes?
(Not judging — just educating. Many people simply haven't been shown the difference.)

At A Florida Arborist we built our reputation on doing things the right way even when nobody is watching.
Because professionalism shows up in the details: How a crew sets ropes
How they protect property
How they prune for tree health
How they communicate risk

I'm curious…
When you hire a contractor, what matters more to you: price or professionalism?
(No wrong answers — just interested to see what people think.)

🚨 PLEASE READ – We’re looking for someone to help 🚨
Not everyone skips necessary tree work because they don't care…
Some are worried because they just can't afford it.
Every year we meet good people — elderly homeowners, single parents, disabled individuals, veterans, and hardworking families — who know they have dangerous trees over their homes but have no way to pay thousands of dollars to fix the problem.
They just live with the risk and pray nothing happens.
That bothers us.
So A Florida Arborist has decided we want to step in and help someone who truly deserves it.
We are going to select ONE person or family to receive:
🌳 FREE professional tree risk evaluation
🌳 FREE tree removal OR storm risk reduction.
🌳 FREE peace of mind going into storm season.

Here’s where we need your help:
Nominate someone who truly deserves this.
Maybe it's:
• An elderly neighbor
• A veteran
• A disabled homeowner
• A single parent
• Someone who has just had a hard run of life.

HOW TO NOMINATE.
Comment their story (or message us privately)
Tell us why they deserve it
Share this post so we can reach the right person
We aren’t doing this for attention.
We aren’t doing this for marketing.
We’re doing it because when you have the ability to help people, you should.

Let's prove there are still good people out there.
❤️ If you know someone, nominate them.
🔁 If you believe in helping others, share this post.
🌳 If you want to support local companies that give back, follow our page.

We will announce the selected nominee Monday, May 4th.

A chainsaw and a truck doesn't make someone an arborist.

“Cut-and-run” crews often leave property damage, trees over-cut, unsafe, and needing expensive repairs later.

🚩 If the price sounds too good…
🚩 If they want to remove half the tree…
🚩 If they can’t explain why they’re cutting…

You may be paying twice.
Proper tree care should last years, not until next season.

Hire knowledge — not just a chainsaw.
