XP Lawn Care

XP Lawn Care We provide dependable lawn care including mowing, trimming, and weed-eating at affordable prices. I always focused on providing quality work to my customers.

XP Lawn Care began in April 2010 after I, the owner/operator, Will Daniels, had completed my first year of substitute teaching. Substitute teaching was a limited and random profession, leaving me to consider howelse I could earn an income. Not wanting to depend on the government I remembered that I had plenty of lawn care experience from my years growing up. At first, I advertised with the Weekly

Trader and Neighborhood Trader. For the first few years I was the sole employee, working after school most days from my Toyota Celica. Soon, I found my customer list growing larger than what I could complete on my own. Through the years I have had a number of wonderful employees who take great pride in their work, which has helped XP expand to larger and larger horizons. Now XP has grown to a three county operation that employs 6 honest, hardworking individuals. XP Lawn Care prides itself in providing the highest quality mowing, trimming, and weedeating in the Southern West Virginia. XP employees are skilled, experienced, and most importantly drug-free. Now in our 6th year since conception, XP looks to serve many more good people from Wyoming, Mingo, and Logan Counties. Will Daniels

*****PSA for all Southern WV residents be safe when doing outdoor activities, this year we've experienced an extremely high number of poisonous snakes in the region. It has became a daily occurrence for our crews to encounter Copperheads and occasionally Rattlesnakes. Honestly most years we don't see a lot of snakes, they tend to get out of our way. Here's you a fun pic for the Internet World. This scene is from a local ditch line in the Hanover, WV area. How many Copperheads do you see here? Share your answers and favorite local snake pics/videos from this summer in the comment section. Lets get this going!!! XP

In Southern West Virginia our local residents are always quick to tell you what different businesses we need people to put in our area. Over and over I have said that we need a good home-cooking restaurant in Oceana (we love Castle Rock and Justonian but sometimes we wanted something closer). Well....here it is ladies and gentlemen. One of the best chefs, Kelly Laxton, to ever grace Wyoming County is planning to expand her current business, The Cakery, with a new addition that she has so creatively named Rae's Diner. From what I have gathered from Kelly she hopes to get everything up and running in the very near future. After Kelly shared the exciting news of her expansion we started thinking of what we could do to help do our part to support a fellow local entrepreneur. We figured the least we could do to help was a tune up on her ornamental trees and shrubs since that is our forte. Here's a few pics advertising our handy work with the hedge trimmers.

The way I look at it is if everyone does a little to help support local businesses over big chains then the ones that stand to benefit, is us the locals, because local business owners support local schools, local business owners provide over half of our region's jobs, local business owners are the ones we can all count on for help.....now its all our turns to help support this new local business....see you at the opening.

Thank You Kelly for always helping support us, just want you to know we will always support you all.

Tis the Season to get some brush cleaned up and removed from your property. During this time of year (November-March), XP can save you up to 60% of what the cost to remove brush during the summer months typically would be. First, we cut everything on site with chainsaws and metal blades. Then we remove the brush from site. During the final step we go over the original location with a weedeater, making it smooth as a baby's bottom. The final product is an open, functional piece of property that was a useless, thicket of briars. Let XP's experienced and insured workforce clean up your property before the Holidays. Give us a call today for a free estimate (304) 923-4499.
