This extreme clean was straight out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie: a couple returned to their home after 14 hrs. to find about 1,000 birds nesting in their home.

To clean, every bird had to be removed with the help of local animal control. The bird droppings were removed and all surfaces were cleaned and disinfected, including the air ducts.

Heavily soiled carpet and furniture was unable to be restored and were discarded and replaced. Finally, the home was inspected and tested by an indoor environmental pro for safety.

Our latest extreme clean comes from a wastewater treatment plant in the Northeast...

An equipment failure led to nearly 3 million gallons of sewage and treatment media spilling into the plant, submerging equipment as high as 7ft.

With 24 employees working around the clock, the cleanup took about 10 days. The team removed 7 tractor trailer size loads of media, alone.

Never wash smoke-damaged clothing yourself. This can set the smoke odors or stains and ruin them. Smoke-damaged clothing should quickly be taken to the dry cleaner.
