This Memorial Day, PEG proudly honors the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We are humbled to work alongside the United States military in support of missions that protect our country and preserve liberty across the globe.

From Joint Base Pearl Harbor and Kaena Point Space Force Station in Hawaii, to Anderson Air Force Base in Guam, to Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado, we have witnessed firsthand the professionalism, courage, and commitment of America’s service members.

Today, we remember those who never came home.
Their legacy lives on in every mission carried out, every flag raised, and every American protected.

PEG stands grateful, proud, and forever committed to supporting those who serve.

God Bless our fallen heroes.
God Bless our military.
And God Bless the United States of America.

At PEG, we help build the mission critical facilities that support those who defend our nation and strengthen America’s military readiness.

Today, we’re honored to share the words of a WWII veteran who reminds us what truly makes this country great.

He says America is “the most blessed country on earth,” and every night he thanks God for the men who made the ultimate sacrifice: the young Americans who never had the chance to become husbands, fathers, or grandfathers because they gave their lives defending our freedom.

Their sacrifice built the nation we live in today.
Their courage must never be forgotten.

God bless our veterans. God bless those who never came home. And God bless America.

As 2026 Safety Week comes to a close, we want to thank every member of the PEG team for showing what it means to be All In. Every task, every jobsite, every day.

At PEG, supporting the mission of our nation’s military is at the core of everything we do. Every project we complete plays a role in strengthening the readiness and success of the men and women who serve our country. That responsibility makes safety our highest priority on every jobsite. By maintaining a strong safety culture, we help ensure our work never disrupts or takes away from critical military operations, training, or mission readiness. Staying vigilant, disciplined, and accountable protects our team, our partners, and the military personnel who depend on these facilities every day. When we work safely, we support the mission effectively as One Team, fully All In.

Thank you to every employee, partner, and leader who took the time to participate, speak up, and look out for one another throughout the week. Let’s carry that mindset forward long after Safety Week ends.

Stay safe. Stay sharp. Stay All In.

In 2017, PEG adopted the “ALL IN” and “ONE TEAM” mentality and model. These haven’t just been slogans to us, they’ve been the standard we operate by.

“ALL IN” means showing up every day fully committed to the mission, the customer, and the work. It means accountability, ownership, and putting everything on the line to deliver at the highest level.

“ONE TEAM” is more than a slogan. “ONE TEAM” is an operational model built on true in-house capability.

In the federal market, mission success cannot be achieved through disconnected scopes, layered subcontracting, or isolated teams working independently. Our Life Safety/Fire Alarm, Telecommunications, Security, High Voltage, and Electrical divisions operate under one roof as a fully integrated team, coordinating every phase of ex*****on together from planning through closeout. That structure creates accountability, improves communication, reduces risk, and ensures seamless delivery across complex projects.

We work side by side with general contractors, the Government, partners, and every trade on site with a unified approach that is backed by REAL resources, REAL expertise, and direct control of the work. That level of coordination and ex*****on is what separates branding from actual and proven capability.

Anyone can copy words.
Not everyone can build the structure, culture, and divisions behind them.

For us, it’s never been branding.
It’s who we are.

Today, we stand down to stand up for safety.

A large portion of our work takes place at height: overhead power lines, installing and maintaining lightning protection systems, mass notification antennas, and beacon aircraft warning lights on the roofs of tall structures like aircraft hangars. These critical systems protect lives and infrastructure, but they also expose our teams to one of the most persistent dangers in the workplace: falls.

In support of OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls, we’re pausing work to focus on awareness, prevention, and accountability.

Falls remain one of the leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities across all industries. In 2023, falls to lower levels accounted for 37% of all construction-related deaths, while slips, trips, and falls made up roughly 20% of workplace injuries overall. These aren’t just statistics. These numbers represent real people, real families, and real consequences.

The truth is, nearly every fall is preventable.

Whether it’s climbing ladders, accessing rooftop equipment, or navigating walkways, the risks are always present. And it only takes a moment: a missed step, a lack of protection, or the belief that “it’ll just take a second” for a routine task to turn into a life-changing event.

Today, we reinforce what matters:
-Proper planning before every task
-Correct use of fall protection equipment
-Clear communication across all teams
-Constant awareness—no matter how routine the job may seem

Because safety isn’t just a priority it’s a responsibility we carry on every roof, every ladder, and every step.

Stand down. Speak up. Stay safe.

Safety Week 2026

Today’s focus: How we respond before an incident happens.

In our line of work, the best response is built long before the task begins. Safety doesn’t start in the field. Safety starts with paperwork and planning required by the USACE EM385, specific base requirements and PEG Company policies. This means every step is clearly documented and reviewed before the job begins. Whether it’s developing an Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA), creating a fall protection and rescue plan for the installation of a lightning protection system on the roof of an aircraft hangar, verifying Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, or completing confined space entry permits for manholes, these controls are in place to eliminate guesswork and reduce risk.

For example: prior to entry into a manhole, crews confirm atmospheric testing, ventilation, rescue plans, and attendant responsibilities are fully addressed and signed off. For electrical systems, LOTO plans ensure all energy sources are identified, isolated, and verified de-energized; no assumptions, no shortcuts. These requirements aren’t just administrative, they are critical safeguards that protect workers from unseen hazards.

Taking the time to plan thoroughly and complete required documentation ensures everyone goes home safe.

-Plan the work with safety built in from the start
-Prioritize direct controls over warnings and reminders
-Re-check and adjust the plan daily
-Make sure every team member understands their role

Strong response means turning hazard recognition into real protection and that starts by looking beyond PPE whenever possible.

Energy Control in Action:
Elimination – Remove the hazard entirely

EXAMPLE: Prefab at grade to eliminate work at height

Reduction – Minimize exposure

EXAMPLE: Use methods that reduce force, pinch points, or duration

Isolation – Separate people from hazards

EXAMPLE: Guardrails, trench systems, LOTO, barricades, exclusion zones

When direct controls aren’t enough:

• Administrative controls help reduce human error
• PPE is the last line of defense, not the first

PEG’S mission is clear:
Control the energy. Control the risk. Protect the team.

Construction Safety Week | May 4–8, 2026
Recognize • Respond • Respect

Construction Safety Week is a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to protect the people who make our industry possible.

Over the past decade, we’ve made real progress improving safety practices, strengthening our culture of care, and increasing awareness around critical issues like mental health. But while incident rates have declined, serious injuries and fatalities remain a persistent challenge.

At the core of everything we do is trust. Among our teams, our partners, and the families who rely on us to bring their loved ones home safely each day.
This year, we’re building on the theme “All In Together” with a renewed focus on three key actions:
Recognize high-risk hazards, Respond quickly and effectively, Respect every person and every role on the jobsite.

Safety is more than a priority, it’s a shared commitment across every phase of our work. By staying aware, speaking up, and looking out for one another, we can continue to build a stronger, safer industry.

Porges Electrical Group is proud to announce our latest fleet donation to the Gary Sinise Foundation to support their incredible mission.

Exclusively serving the military and Federal market, we are deeply connected to the men and women who serve our country. Supporting the military is not just part of what we do in the field, it’s part of who we are. That’s why it’s especially meaningful for us to give back off the job as well.

The Gary Sinise Foundation does extraordinary work serving our nation’s heroes, from building specially adapted smart homes for wounded veterans, to providing essential mobility equipment, to supporting first responders and their families, and honoring those who have sacrificed so much.

We’re honored to play a small role in advancing their mission and standing behind those who protect our freedom every day.

“While we can never do enough for our nation’s heroes, we can always do a little more.” -Gary Sinise
