A groundhog in an attic is not something you see every day! In Columbia, MO, that is exactly what a homeowner discovered.

According to Peter Riney, owner of Critter Control of Central Missouri, this is the first time in his 20+ years of experience he has seen this happen.

With no safe way to set a trap in the attic, the team got creative. They fashioned a ladder using black vinyl-coated hardware cloth to give the groundhog a secure way to climb down on its own!

Our Chicago team rolled up their sleeves and put their green thumbs to work in Schaumburg, IL! 🌿

In partnership with Keep America Beautiful, Schaumburg Park District, and SPD - Spring Valley Nature Center & Heritage Farm, the team planted 1,440 pollinator-friendly plants and refreshed mulch around the natural playground.

The group also cleaned up the outdoor interactive play area and removed garlic mustard, an invasive w**d that limits the growth of native plants.

Team members from our sister brands, OPC Pest Services and AAction Pest Control, joined the Chicago team to support the project.

We’re proud to help create cleaner, healthier environments for our communities and local wildlife.

Do you know which critter caused this damage? 👀

If you guessed a mole, you’re correct! They can quickly tear up your yard, leaving raised tunnels, damaged plants, and mounds of soil behind. Even after moles leave, their tunnels can cause a problem. Other pests can inhabit their abandoned tunnels!

Don’t let these critters go unnoticed. Their impact can reach further than you might think. 🏡

🎥 Watch this mole in action! These critters are known for burrowing and moving soil to create tunnels and molehills. Fascinating to watch, but their activity can quickly cause problems for your yard.
