Evidently, Kier must be rather proud of the job they did managing the building, because that's a picture of it at the far right of the page.
The picture that they SHOULD be using is the one on the next page that was taken on March 08, 2009.

The tenant who was housing the murder victim in 2008 and who was arrested for prostitution a year later.

In this email, Marcus and Millichap employee/broker, Richard Bird attempts to shed some light on the confusion, but only causes more.

According to the property tax records in the next posting and Richard's letter here, it appears that Mountain Range, (the company I bought the building from in 2005) did all of the following... Apparently, all at the same time!!

• They modified their name from "Mountain Range" to "Utah Home Mountain Range"

• They bought the building in 2005 and then sold it to me.

• They bought the building from "KIER", according to this letter.

• They owned the building for 23 years prior to selling it to me, (as evidenced by the utility and service contracts originating in 1987 and posted below, and per the city issued building permits from 1987, also posted below)

THIS was a VERY busy company...

In reality, the buildings were originally bought and rehabbed by Kier in 1987, under the name, "Mountain Range". The building permits confirm as much, as do the Utility and Service contracts that were held open and uninterrupted, in these names from 1987 until I had the accounts placed into my name in Nov. 2009.

The mysterious, "previous owner" that Kier attorney, Byron Benevento referred to in his letter, was clearly none other than Kier, operating under a sub corporation called Mountain Range, who then modified their name to facilitate the liquidation of this property and 3 others.

The only thing better than catching a huge company like Kier in their own lie, is finding out how many other lies they've told in order to maintain the first one.

These are the Property Tax records for my building dating back to 1990... 15 years prior to my purchase of the building ...

These are the Property Tax records for my building dating back to 1990... 15 years prior to my purchase of the building from Mountain Range in 2005.
Following the tax records for my building, are the property tax records for the:
• Mountain View Apartments
• Browning Apartments
• Revelle Apartments

All 4 properties had the same owner of record, during the same periods of time.

What a stroke of luck that Kier found 1 buyer to purchase all 4 properties from them...

More unbelievable, is the apparent "luck" of the new owner, who ALSO found 1 buyer to buy all 4 properties from him!!!

Perhaps the more logical and believable explanation is that Kier transfered these 4 properties to a sub corporation, slightly modified the corporation name from "MOUNTAIN RANGE" to "UTAH HOME MOUNTAIN RANGE" in order to liquidate them without having a connection to them.

Corruption doesn't only run "Kier deep" in Ogden....
In my earlier posting entitled "Program Problems", On May 2, 2010 - I ask Special Programs Manager, Lin Fulcher at Ogden Housing to kindly point out any problems there were with the building's lease. I resubmitted that request on multiple occasions, both verbally and in writing.
Just a mere 112-days later, she FINALLY responded.

Kier either removed the pigeon crap from my building, or they didn't.... They just can't have it both ways. --- HERE'S THE EVIDENCE TALLY SO FAR:
ME: •Government Agency photograph.
•Work orders from Kier charging for the work.
•Resident statements...

KIER: Just a lot of lies and false statements.

Know what else this picture shows?
The exterior lighting on the building is on... in broad daylight.
This is due to the fact that the timer controlling the lights was broken, allowing the lights to remain on 24/7, wasting an enormous amount of my money on needless electric bills.

Questar Gas red-tagged the building's water heater because it had been illegally vented into the original coal fired boiler's chimney resulting in the vent becoming buried in debris, causing deadly carbon monoxide gas to fill the boiler and supply rooms where most of the building's vendors and employees do their work.
The cost to legally vent the water heater was right around $250.
Obviously a much higher price than the value Kier placed on the lives of their employees and tenants.

KSL-News Segment on the pr******te that was murdered at my building. Note how the woman interviewed behind my building, near the end of the segment, refers to the multiple (pr******tes) "girls" out there and that it could have been any one of them...

Kier, by their own admission, was not only aware that there was a prostitution problem in the neighborhood, but they also contributed to the problem, by renting units in my building to suspected pr******tes and allowing one to continue residency while in clear violation of her lease... (The murder victim had been living in her unit without authorization, in clear violation of her lease)
