From BGW Senior Architect Josh Felix on his visit to the construction site last Thursday at Watermark Classical Academy in Sewickley, PA:

"The finish line, which seemed so far away a few months ago, is now in full view! When I first reviewed this project with our preliminary designer, I thought his conceptual design was creatively ambitious. Two and half years later, I can confirm that my original assessment was correct. There is not a window mullion, brick joint or ceiling transition that hasn’t been thoroughly thought through, drawn, re-drawn and re-designed at least five or ten times. We are still a week or so away from having all of the equipment out of the way, but even now it shows very well."

So excited for the folks at Alpine Church as they prepare for the grand opening of their new Campus in Logan, UT next month! BGW has been working with the church to repurpose an old movie theater after they outgrew their previous location.

The Alpine Church in Logan recently moved to a new building after its congregation outgrew its former location. Now, the leadership team in Logan is preparing for its grand opening on Sept. 20.

For more than a decade, our school-wide themes have helped tell the story of who we are and where God is leading us, from "Striving for Excellence" and "Rooted in Christ" to "Stronger Together" and "Christ Our Cornerstone."

This year’s theme carries a special connection to our history.

In 2012–2013, as Delmarva Christian moved to the Sussex Pines campus, our theme was Building. Excitement.

Today, as students start a new school year and steel rises while a new campus takes shape, we’re bringing those words back with one important addition: Together.

This year's theme is - Building. Excitement. Together.

Because we’re not just building classrooms, hallways, and athletic spaces. We’re building each other up.

“So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

As the walls go up around us, may something even greater be happening within our community.

Construction continues to progress at First Belton in Belton, TX on the new 62,000 SF worship center.

From our Senior Architect Josh Felix on his recent site visit to Delmarva Christian Schools: It’s a long time coming for this update. Steel is going up at Delmarva Christian School in Georgetown, DE! This is a 60,000 sf addition to their existing campus and will provide: 22 Classrooms, Gym and Locker Rooms, Science Labs, Industrial Arts Space, Office and Conference Space and a Grand Entrance. While we are finally going vertical, we still have a little over a year of construction remaining. We're so excited for the DCS families and staff. Can’t wait to see the progress!

A big shout out to our friends at Desert Springs Community Church for consistently showing the love of Christ to the workers on their construction site. They recently hosted "Finish Strong Friday BBQ" and "Thursday Refresh". They also put together a nice fruit basket with $200 in gift cards for one of the workers whose grandfather recently passed away.
