Earlier this week, we were contacted by Venango County for help solving a unique snow removal challenge.

After the heavy snowfall over the weekend of the 24th, the new sidewalk along Route 8 became completely impassable. The County’s sidewalk snow removal equipment simply couldn’t handle the volume of snow, and traditional removal methods—using a loader and hauling snow away—weren’t feasible due to traffic control and permitting requirements along State Highway 8.

That’s where experience and creative problem-solving came into play.

Working with the County, we developed an out-of-the-box solution and determined that a skid steer mounted snow blower was the safest, most efficient, effective, and financially responsible option for the taxpayers of Venango County.

Tonight, one of our operators spent a full shift snow blowing the sidewalk, and we’re happy to report that it is now safely passable for area residents.

Do you love working outdoors with your hands? How about having a different job site every day of the week? Are you currently employed in the lawn care/landscaping industry and feel that your employer doesn't treat you well or value your contributions?

Well look no further! King's Landscaping is looking to hire some additional team members to join our family! Ask any of our employees and they will tell you how great of an outfit we are to work for.

Ideally you're a hardworking, responsible, reliable individual with a positive attitude and a love of working outdoors. Prior lawn care/landscaping experience is a plus but is certainly not required - we will train you if not!

Duties may include, but are not limited to, operating commercial zero turn mowers, walk behind and push mowers, and hand held mowing/grass trimming equipment, raking, blowing leaves, planting, trimming, and maintaining trees and shrubs, installing decorative stone or mulch, and snow removal and ice control in the winter.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, although some weekends may be required depending on weather.

Starting pay will be based on experience.

Applicants should be able to lift 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, and climbing.

A driver's license and a clean driving record is desirable, but not necessarily a requirement for the right individual.

Significant freezing rain storm arriving in just a few hours! We have been getting a lot of calls inquiring if we can anti-skid residential driveways. The answer is of course we can! We can salt them too if its paved and you'd prefer that!
