This is a whole backyard working as one piece. Raised spa spilling into the pool, water bowls along the edge, a pergola for shade, and deck room for an actual crowd. None of it was bolted on later. It was all drawn together before anything got built.

One of the best parts of our 3D design process is seeing how a pool fits naturally into the existing home and yard before anything is built. This design features a rectangular pool with a clean travertine paver deck, an attached wood pergola with outdoor lounge and dining seating, a covered patio with outdoor chairs off the main living area, and a second pergola structure for a relaxed sitting area, all framed by mature wooded trees in the background.

This backyard was designed for a homeowner who went a different direction. Now it is available for someone ready to build.

That should be normal.

We plan every detail of your backyard in full 3D before construction starts, including the landscaping. This design features a clean rectangular pool with arching deck jets shooting across the surface, a tanning ledge with entry steps, a full paver deck with chaise lounges and Adirondack-style seating, a built-in grill station, and lush perennial garden beds framing the entire pool area in deep purple and white blooms.

This concept was designed for a Lowcountry homeowner who chose not to build. The design work is done and waiting for the right backyard.

Hurricane season question we hear every August:

What happens to a pool in a big storm? Heavy rain raises the groundwater, and that upward pressure is what pops light shells out of the ground. A concrete shell with steel and gunite, like this Bluffton build, is made to stay put. One more reason we only build concrete.
