Customer wanted to build a covered patio extension but the backyard elevation dropped off abruptly — so before anything else we had to build a retaining wall system to support it.
Dug the footing, packed crushed aggregate, compacted, and brought the block up in lifts. Placed clean aggregate behind the wall so water drains freely, ran perforated pipe at the base to carry it out, and tied in a layer of geogrid to hold everything in place.
End result — a solid raised patio extension ready for them to build their covered patio on top.
