This custom cedar garage door was showing signs of wear and weathering, so we started with a complete sanding process to remove the old finish, smooth the surface, and properly prepare the wood for a new protective coating.

Once the preparation was complete, we applied Ready Seal in Natural Cedar, highlighting the natural beauty of the cedar while providing deep pe*******on and long-lasting protection against Oklahoma’s harsh weather.

Preparation is everything. A full sanding allows the stain to absorb evenly, enhances the wood grain, and creates a finish that not only looks incredible but is built to last.

For this project, we replaced the old, weathered fence with pre-stained Japanese Cedar pickets from Pergola World, finished in the rich and elegant Oxford Brown color. The deep brown tones highlight the natural wood grain while providing long-lasting protection against Oklahoma’s harsh sun and weather.

Paired with new black hardware, this front entry now has a clean, timeless look that adds both curb appeal and value to the home.
