Small details can become expensive delays once fieldwork begins.

Before mobilization, good environmental planning means looking beyond the immediate task.

What's the property's history? Can people and equipment access the work area? Are there potential utility conflicts? What regulatory reviews or notifications are required? And what does project closure ultimately need to look like?

Addressing those questions early can reduce surprises, unnecessary downtime and last-minute changes.

Good environmental planning starts with understanding the entire project lifecycle—not just the next task.

After OU’s win over Texas, we had another Sooner highlight at the 2026 Oklahoma Oil amp; Natural Gas Expo!

Former University of Oklahoma linebacker Rufus Alexander stopped by our roping booth, where Robert Keyes showed him the ropes. Rufus made the catch on his very first throw after the lesson.It didn’t take long for the athlete to learn from the cowboy!

Small excavators. Big winners. 🏗️

Visitors took the controls at our excavator booth during the 2026 Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas Expo, using remote-control excavators to pull miniature underground storage tanks from the soil.

Congratulations to our six $25 gift card winners! Thanks to everyone who tried the challenge, cheered someone on, or stopped by to meet the Associated Industries team.

Hats off to our cowboy hat winner! 🤠

We brought a little Western fun to the 2026 Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas Expo with our roping booth! Everyone who climbed into the saddle was entered into our cowboy hat giveaway—catching the moving calf target was just part of the fun.

After congratulating our winner, we took Jet shopping to pick out his new hat. We’d say he chose well!

Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments aren't interchangeable—and a Phase II doesn't automatically follow every Phase I.

A Phase I ESA generally evaluates a property's environmental history and current conditions through records research, interviews and a site reconnaissance.

When additional investigation is warranted, a Phase II ESA may use targeted sampling and laboratory analysis to evaluate potential contamination.

Think of it this way:

Phase I: Review and inspect.
Phase II: Sample and test.

The appropriate next step depends on the findings and the circumstances of the property.
