Finishing up a re-deck and re-roof in NW OKC.
**Important FYI**

Re-deck is when the roof has 1x8” decking with 1/4” or more spacing. The spacing can allow nails to go through and not secure the shingle to manufacturers guidelines. We install OSB sheathing over the 1x8s so there is no spaces. It’s VERY important to have a trusted roofer review your claim documents and get it approved as long as you have code upgrade in your policy. We highly recommend having code upgrade and soft metals, or marring, in your policy. Soft metals include metal valleys and gutters. We live in Oklahoma, your gutters WILL GET damaged!
