Scalping is starting up! What's scalping? Scalping is removing all the dead overgrowth from the past season by cutting as low as possible and bagging what you cut.

Why do you need it? Removing all the dead and nasty overgrowth removes a canopy of shade (Bermuda can't grow in the shade) and allows sunlight to directly hit the yard. This allows the yard to grow and not fight against the dead grass. This makes your yard greener, healthier, and thicker much sooner.

By May, most people's lawns are struggling to really get going while your scalped lawn is thriving and it'll only get better.
