FSB Wins UCO Forensic Science Institute Addition

FSB has been selected by the University of Central Oklahoma to design the $10M Forensic Science Institute Addition, adding 12,500 SF of specialized forensic teaching and lab space to one of UCO’s most recognized programs. The project is funded with support from a state legislature appropriation, helping expand opportunities for forensic science education and training in Oklahoma.

Having designed the original facility, this project continues a long-standing partnership and legacy with UCO. The addition will feature advanced forensic labs, evidence recovery and storage spaces, collaborative learning environments, and student-focused amenities designed to support the next generation of investigators.

We’re honored to continue helping shape the future of forensic science education at UCO.

From start to finish lines—and everything in between—our team made the most of an active and inspiring weekend across the country. 🏃‍♀️🎨

In Oklahoma City, team members took on the Memorial Marathon and soaked in the creativity at the Arts Festival, celebrating community, resilience, and the power of the arts.

Meanwhile in Los Angeles, our crew laced up for the El Segundo PTA Run for Education—complete with the run's iconic architectural namesake in the backdrop.🎬

Wherever we are, it’s always energizing to see our team connecting, creating, and showing up in their communities.

Laure Majors, recipient of the ArtE Award — the highest honor given to an employee. ⭐ This award recognizes an individual who truly embodies the standards and values of our firm.

Laure consistently advocates for the success of our clients, employees, and studios. She has given more than 30 years of her career to FSB and has worked closely with four different ownership groups. The epitome of a person who always puts FSB first, Laure can often be found working behind the scenes to elevate others. As a passionate ambassador she represents the firm throughout the state with the utmost dedication.

Thank you to the American Institute of Architects - CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CHAPTER for organizing another successful Architecture Tour and for celebrating the power of design across our community.

We’re grateful to the volunteers who helped make the day possible and everyone who took the time to attend, explore, and engage with the projects. It was a great opportunity to connect, share one of our favorite projects, the Civic Center Music Hall Historic Restoration, and be part of a tour that highlights the impact of thoughtful design in Oklahoma City.

Celebrating the 2025–2026 Leadership FSB Class 7! 🎓

This year, 14 members of our team completed the FSB Leadership program, an annual initiative led by FSB Associates to develop leaders at every level, strengthen our culture, and support both personal and professional growth.

Throughout the program, this group embraced opportunities to learn, collaborate, and lead — while also giving back by raising funds for City Care in Oklahoma City, Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc., and Waterfront Rescue Mission in Mobile.

We’re proud of their dedication and excited to see how they continue to make an impact across FSB and in our communities.

Today we’re recognizing Ning Liu, recipient of the Servant Award. 🙏

This award goes to an employee who exemplifies our guiding principle of community and represents FSB through service and support.

Ning is always ready to help wherever needed, from renderings and production support to finish boards and serving as a translator for clients. Now in her twelfth year with FSB, she continues to strengthen the collaborative spirit that defines our internal community.
