Reel Swap Thursday… this X20 is in getting an upgrade from a 6 blade to a 9 blade reel. Getting ready to dominate this spring!!

Pro tip: make sure the bedknife gets a fresh grind; there is a slight difference in width between the 6 and 9 blade and you want to start with a clean surface for your new reel to have an optimum cut.

I have some some exciting news to share here at Oklamuda Turf. This week I will be breaking ground on a new larger facility at my current location here in Oklahoma City to better service all my existing and new customers!

I have also just purchased a SIP Peerless Reel grinder that is capable of spin and relief grinding. The Peerless can grind straight to within .001 inches and grind cylindrical and parallel within .002 inches. The grinder uses a Total Parallel Grinding and Reel Diameter Pi tape measuring system that is unique from other grinders on the market.

I have also purchased a SIP Peerless Automatic Bedknife grinder that has dual grinding heads that reduces set up and changeover times, eliminates interference between the grinding head and bed knife, and allows you to grind the top and front faces at the same time.

I am hoping to be fully up and running sometime early December (weather permitting) and ready to help with all of your offseason grinding and service needs. See attached flyer for offerings and prices.

Been a busy week here at Oklamuda Turf!!

Two new mowers delivered to the Edmond, OK area, one also picked up for repair on Tuesday and returned tonight ready to rock and mow! Took my personal X20 to a customer to use while I swap his engine because Zoysia don’t wait for nobody!

To end the trip tonight I got to deliver a X20 to a Oklahoma State Trooper that is ready to dominate her neighborhood and take her lawn to the next level!

I absolutely love meeting all the new and existing Rolux Fanatics and can’t wait to see what next week brings!!

Last night was a rough night for Oklahoma with many tornadoes touching down and lots of devastation, but today is a new day and in true Oklahoma spirit: “The Mow must go on!”
