Meet the people behind Cutting Edge!

Hey Johnson County! I’m Dalen Deets, and together with my awesome team, we own and operate Cutting Edge Landscape, right here in Olathe!

You might have seen our trucks around or heard of us, but I wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share our story.

I was born and raised in Johnson County, and have always been driven by a love for the outdoors and a serious work ethic.

At 14, my parents made me work at a fast food chain, so I started mowing neighbors lawns to be able to quit working there. Our first year in business we mowed two yards, and that start brought us to where we are today.

Today, Cutting Edge is a skilled local team, tackling a wide variety of services with a passion and commitment to excellence.
While we still mow lawns, our services include:

-Landscape design/installation
- Plantings
- Fertilizer and W**d Control
- Aeration and seeding
- River Rock Installation
- Full service commercial and residential grounds maintenance.

Thank you for supporting us- it means the world. If you have a project in mind, we would love to bring it to reality.

From now until the end of 2026, we are offering $300 off your project of $3,000 or more when you mention this post!

This property was overgrown and out of control, we stepped in, cleared out all of the overgrowth and vegetation, planted some low maintenance shrubs, and installed river rock to give this client piece of mind and a low maintenance landscape to enjoy.
