Ridgeline Kansas City had the pleasure of being a title sponsor for the Osawatomie Rotary Golf Tournament today! The fellas represented RKC in the 1& hole scramble, while Amy and Lindsay handed out chicfila breakfast to all the teams and harassed the golfers all day…..a good time was had by all! @

Experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator
Kansas City | Full-Time | $90,000–$120,000, based on experience
Good People. Solid Work. High Standards. Plenty of Humor.
We’re a fast-growing, family-owned electrical contractor in Kansas City, and we’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to join our team.
We are a fast-moving, high-performance company built around good people who work hard, take ownership, and genuinely care about the quality of what we deliver.
Our approach is pretty simple: accountability over excuses.
We expect a lot from our team, but we also believe you can work hard, perform at a high level, enjoy the people around you, and still have a life outside of work.
We're down-to-earth, family-oriented, and focused on continuous growth. We like new ideas, challenge the way things have always been done, and are working to lead Kansas City electrical construction through innovative thinking and better ex*****on.
And while we take our work seriously, we definitely don't take ourselves too seriously. There's plenty of humor around here—sometimes at our own expense.
If you're an experienced electrical PM or estimator who wants independence, responsibility, and the opportunity to grow with a company that's going places, we want to meet you.
What You'll Do
This isn't a position where you'll sit on the sidelines. You'll be involved in projects in a "cradle to grave" lifecycle—from estimating and preconstruction through ex*****on and closeout.
You'll be responsible for:
Preparing detailed estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects
Reviewing plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents
Performing takeoffs and developing labor and material estimates
Soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing
Identifying value-engineering opportunities, potential risks, and smarter ways to get the job done
Preparing proposals and coordinating project handoffs from estimating to operations
Managing project budgets, schedules, manpower needs, procurement, and overall performance
Working closely with field leadership to keep projects moving efficiently
Managing change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Building strong relationships with general contractors, owners, vendors, and project partners
Monitoring job costs, forecasts, and profitability
Identifying problems early and taking ownership of solutions
Helping us continually improve the way we estimate, manage, and deliver our work
Who We're Looking For
Experience matters, but so does how you operate.
We're looking for someone who knows electrical construction, can manage the details, sees the bigger picture, and takes ownership of results.
The right person will bring:
Proven experience in electrical estimating and/or electrical project management
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
Experience developing estimates, budgets, schedules, and project forecasts
Strong organizational and communication skills
Confidence working with field teams, general contractors, owners, vendors, and subcontractors
Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A willingness to learn, improve, and challenge the status quo
Integrity and a strong work ethic
A team-first attitude and a sense of humor
Above all, we're looking for someone who takes ownership.
Things don't always go according to plan in construction. When they don't, we want people who ask "How do we fix it?" instead of "Whose fault is it?"
Our Culture
We're building a company where high performance and a great culture aren't competing ideas.
What matters around here:
Accountability over excuses.
Own your work, your decisions, and your results.
Work hard and do it right.
Our reputation matters. We want to be proud of what we put our name on.
Keep getting better.
Continuous growth and learning are part of the job. Good enough isn't where we stop.
Family matters.
We're family-owned, and we want our people to have fulfilling lives outside of work too.
Bring ideas.
We're growing because we're willing to think differently. If there's a better way to do something, we want to hear it.
Have some fun.
We work hard. We laugh hard too. A little humility and a good sense of humor go a long way around here.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000–$120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
Our benefits package includes:
60% employer-paid employee health benefits
401(k) with company match UP TO 6.5% after 90 days
Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
Work/life balance
Opportunities for continued professional growth and learning
The opportunity to grow your career alongside a rapidly growing company
Why Join Us?
Because if you're good at what you do, you should work somewhere that gives you room to make an impact.
We're growing quickly, we're thinking differently, and we're building something we're proud of right here in Kansas City.
There aren't layers of corporate bureaucracy between you and getting something done. Good ideas are welcome. Initiative is valued. Hard work gets noticed. And when the team wins, we celebrate it.
We're looking for people who want more than another job. We want people who are excited about helping us build the next chapter of this company.
Good people. Solid work. High standards. Plenty of humor.

Dolly gave us a lot of wisdom over the years… including the very important reminder that 9 to 5 is plenty. (Although, personally sometimes I wish she would have sang 10 to 130) 💗

So, in honor of the passing of the one and only Dolly Parton, Ridgeline Kansas City will be closed Friday, August 28.

We’ll hang up the tool belts, turn off the lights (professionally, of course ⚡️), and raise a little hell for an American treasure.

Back at it Monday — with a cup of ambition in hand. ☕️✨

Rest Easy, Dolly. The world was a whole lot brighter with you in it. 💎💕

A new Chapter in Community Healthcare.

Ridgeline Kansas City is proud to celebrate the successful completion of this brand new surgery center, a ground up construction project that represents more than just a new building - it represents a significant investment in health and the future of our community.

This project was made possible through the dedication, expertise and collaboration of an incredible team. A special thank you goes to Forge Construction, LLC for their partnership, leadership and commitment throughout the project. Their collaboration and ability to bring together the many moving pieces of a complex construction effort were instrumental in turning this vision into reality.

We also want to recognize and sincerely thank all of the trades, subcontractors, vendors, consultants and project partners who contributed their time, skill and craftsmanship. From the earliest stages of site work through the final finishes, every team played an important role in delivering a facility that the community can be proud of.

Most importantly, this surgery center will have a lasting impact well beyond the completion of construction. It will expand access to high-quality surgical care, provide a modern environment for patients and medical professionals, and help community for years to come. This facility is an investment in better outcomes, greater access, and a stronger, healthier community.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make this project a success, and we are proud to have been part of bringing this important vision to life. Together, we built more than a surgery center - we build a foundation for the future of healthcare in our community.

Brandon Berry has been a wonderful member of the Ridgeline Kansas City Family for 2 years today (although there may be a bit of clerical discrepancy on his actual start date, so give or take a couple days). You are an amazing asset to the team and we are so happy that you are "ours".

Owen joined us for a summer internship prior to his final year at the Pitt State School Of Construction! He did an amazing job, learned so much and I think even had a little fun along the way! We already miss him and can’t wait for him to graduate and come back, but it made our Mama hearts so happy when he sent us a last first day of school pic today!! Please join us in wishing Owen a great year!
