Wills Way helped Ryan 2 years ago get a medical device that he needed. Therevare several shirt designs to choose from & a car decal. Sunshine Market is who we use for our work apparel & we have always been pleased with the quality!

I am super excited for this!!! I am doing a fundraiser for Type 1 Diabetes. I have many friends that are affected by this. I would love to bring awareness and help as many families as possible. We have had many calls latley asking if we are still working due to the COVID-19 situation. YES...we are still operating as normal! So far, we are able to still get most supplies as needed. We are wearing gloves to all appointments and washing our hands thoroughly throughout the day. We are still here if you need us! We are asking that if you are in quarantine due to being exposed to COVID-19, please reschedule your appointment. Or, if you are not comfortable having service people in your home right now, we understand, just call us and we are happy to reschedule. Many of you may not know that my son is a T1D...

1 year ago today Ryan was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It has changed our lives forever. It's been a rough year. He is insulin dependant for the rest of his life...there is no cure. He has to give injectons any time he eats. He has had over 2100 injections this year. He wears a medical device 24/7 to monitor his glucose levels. He has lost friends, had to move to a new school district because of being bullied about this. He has had coaches and teachers who just don't get it. Yes...it is managable...but if his blood sugar goes too high or too low he could have serious complications or even die. People dont realize how serious it is. Insulin is ridiculously expensive & I cant post something like this without mentioning how much it costs to simply keep my kid alive...considering insulin has been around for close to 100 years. Something needs to change! We are not celebrating that he is a Type 1 diabetic today...but we are celebrating the fact that he is still here. Today we are choosing to celebrate his strength, bravery & perserverance over the past year. He is one of the toughest kids I've ever seen. Not sure how I got so lucky to be his mom!
