Have you ever paid attention to the amount of heat that a regular incandescent bulb produces? There are many household items that raise the inside temperature of your home more than you may know. A simple switch from incandescent and CFL bulbs to LED bulbs can save you lots of money overtime. The upfront cost of purchasing LED bulbs can’t seem a bit too pricey but it is definitely worth it in the long run. Not only do LEDs use less energy they produce far less heat which in turn helps to keep your house cooler longer. Also, If you are a duke energy customer you can apply for a box of free LED bulbs to get started on saving today!
