We are looking to add to our crew!

This post may ruffle a few feathers but we are tired of training people that are only needing to get enough to pay a bill and then quit. We are looking for people that take pride in honest work!

Must be able to:

Have a good work ethic…show up when it expected!
Pass a drug test!
Provide their own transportation to and from job site!
Not have a doctors appointment or court date 3 out of 5 days of the week. (We do understand things come up but will be less tolerant if it is on a regular basis!)

Additional requirements:

Construction experience is preferred but not required
Must be teachable and able to apply training
Be able to climb a ladder and tolerate heights (safely)
Lift at least 50lbs
Have a general understanding of how to safely operate hand tools. We are not looking for someone that only wants to hand tools to the ones working!

Pay will be based off of past experience and at the discretion of Smith Construction!

We are looking to add to our team! We are in need of people ready to work!

Requirements include being able to provide your own transportation to and from work. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must be teachable and ready to learn. Must be able to climb a ladder, not afraid of heights, and can lift at times over 50lbs. We prefer you have some knowledge of safe tool handling. Sometimes we get pulled away from roofing exclusively and get to tackle fun projects like this one! There’s nothing better than porch siting and enjoying the weather!

We built the entire roof system, built deck and tied into 2 existing small decks at the homeowners request, installed Trex board, and installed tongue and groove ceiling.

This turned out so pretty!

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in working we forget to post about all the projects we are involved in.
This customer didn’t want to have to stain his deck or replace any rotten again so they upgraded to Trex boards with new handrail and pickets! We also installed solar lights on the posts. The sunroom got a new screen installed. We also replaced all the screws on the metal roof.
The detail on the deck turned out so nice!!

Repairing a leak often times is like turning over rocks….you never know what you may find. You could find a earthworm or a snake!

We had the opportunity to help out a fellow small business owner with one of their buildings that had been leaking.

We:
Removed all rotten wood and old shingles
Installed new gutter boards and sheeting
Installed new shingles
