Susan Cohen Landscape Architect Susan Cohen specializes in residential landscapes and is known for her simple and elegant designs in harmony with the character of each site.

A licensed landscape architect and a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Susan Cohen has won recognition for her work for private clients and for The New York Botanical Garden, where she designed two exhibition gardens: The Japanese Autumn Garden and Sculptures from the Museum of Modern Art. Her work has been featured in many publications, including The New York Times and Archi

tectural Digest and the books, The New American Swimming Pool and In the Garden. Her book for Timber Press, The Inspired Landscape: Twenty-One Leading Landscape Architects Explore the Creative Process, will be available in November. Susan Cohen lectures widely and has taught in the Landscape Architecture Department of the City College of New York and at The New York Botanical Garden, where she is the Coordinator of the Landscape Design Program.
