We have been at our location on Middlesex Turnpike since the late 70’s and have never had a vandalism incident until last night. We had an oversized insulated glass unit that took over 4 months to have fabricated, purposely smashed in its crate outside of our building. This glass was very special and very large (approximately 13 feet wide by 12 feet tall). The logistics of just getting it to our shop were enormous. The glass was safely unloaded with a crane and properly blocked and secured to the side of our building. Sometime between during the night the glass was smashed with a hammer or tire iron. Many sleepless nights worrying about this project were all to end on installation day, Monday. I am just disappointed and sad than someone enjoyed hurting me and my business to this extent. New glass has been reordered but I am upset that the customer has to wait. I have to review the security camera footage tonight instead of working on estimates and orders but I’m sure our customers will understand.

We are still working hard to bring ideas to life. Supply shortages and product quality have been a constant problem. Our phone system has crashed due to call volume more than a dozen times. I assure you that we are working on the problem and have added a second answering machine. If you get a recording during regular business hours, there are 3 customers on the line already. I am hoping to add more staff but am finding it difficult to find good candidates. We are busy installing and measuring new projects 6 days a week and are doing our best to serve you.

Our staff has been working tirelessly to keep up with our customers needs. We have encountered some new challenges dealing with our suppliers and fabricators. Due to reduced staff and a shortage of materials, fabricated glass products and plastics are taking weeks longer ship. This is a crazy time of year under normal circumstances. I assure you we are working around the clock to deliver quality products at a fair price.

We are entering Day #2 without phones or internet at the shop. The techs are working hard to restore our systems and to get things at the shop up and running smoothly. Our field service teams have been hard at work both in the shop and on the road.trying to deliver the best possible service. Please be safe and stay away from down power lines.
