Is it June… or AUGUST?! 🤨🌱

All this rain has them looking THICK, green and growing like it’s early summer. Usually August mowing is a little dusty… this year we can barely keep up. 🌧️✂️🌱

Not complaining though — keep it coming!

This property had just about everything working against it: clogged gutter leaders from an improper installation, one working irrigation system and one abandoned system, leaking irrigation lines from previous contractors, plus sewer, sump pump, propane, and irrigation lines running throughout the area. Did we miss anything?!

After carefully locating and working around every obstacle, we installed new buried gutter leaders tied into a drainage system with pop-up emitters, regraded the landscape to move water away from the foundation, and redirected runoff to both the front and back yards.

We finished it off with new plantings where space allowed (without planting on top of any of those utilities!) and topped everything with 2–4” river rock for a clean, finished look.

This one involved a lot of hand digging and careful planning, but we’re happy to say it passed the rain test earlier this week. Another drainage problem solved!

A fresh landscape cleanup and new mulch for our friends at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, followed by another landscape bed refresh at St. Paul Lutheran Church featuring beautiful 1–3” river rock. It’s always great helping our local businesses and community keep their properties looking their best!
