This week, we were proud to partner with SEAA in recognition of Construction Su***de Prevention Week.

Each morning, our teams participated in stand-downs focused on different mental health topics, creating space for honest conversations about well-being, recognizing warning signs, and supporting one another. On Wednesday, we also came together for a company-wide lunch to strengthen connection across our team.

We distributed hard hat stickers featuring a QR code that provides quick access to mental health resources. In addition, every new hire receives a mental health awareness token we created for our 2025 suicide-prevention initiative, a lasting reminder that help is available and no one has to struggle alone.

Mental health awareness cannot be limited to one week. By continuing these conversations, sharing resources, and looking out for one another, we can help build a safer and more supportive construction industry.

Thank you to SEAA and everyone who participated.

One of the most rewarding parts of this project in Alabama wasn't just delivering another successful job—it was everything our team learned along the way.

Every project presents unique challenges, and this one reinforced a few lessons that will stay with us long after the job is complete.

🔹 Mentorship is a two-way street. As Project Managers, we often focus on mentoring our foremen and crews, but the reality is that they teach us just as much. Their field experience, problem-solving, and perspective make us better leaders and better planners.

🔹 Planning is everything. A solid plan creates the foundation for success, but the ability to adapt while keeping everyone aligned is what truly keeps a project moving forward.

🔹 Customer relationships matter just as much as the work itself. Communication, transparency, and trust are what turn a completed project into a lasting partnership.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to work alongside a team that challenged one another, shared knowledge freely, and never lost sight of the customer. Every project adds another layer of experience, and this one was a great reminder that success isn't measured only by what we build—it's also measured by the people we develop, and the relationships we strengthen along the way.

Here's to continuing to learn, lead, and grow with every project.

Safe, Precise, and OnTime.

Last week, Gardner-Watson is proud to participate in the 2026 Fall Prevention Stand-Down Week.

As a company that works at heights every day, fall prevention remains our highest priority. Throughout the week, our teams across the country conducted daily stand-downs focused on critical topics including:

• Controlled Decking Zones (CDZ)

• Controlled Access Zones (CAZ)

• Fall protection anchor points

• Proper tie-off procedures

• Leading edge awareness

• Safe decking installation practices

• Hazard recognition and communication

This year, we are placing additional emphasis on educating our crews on the differences between a CDZ and a CAZ, helping ensure workers fully understand when and where each applies.

These discussions are more than meetings, they are opportunities to reinforce safe work habits, engage with our crews, and strengthen our safety culture on every project.

Thank you to our field employees, foremen and safety team for their continued commitment to working safely and looking out for one another.

Safe. Precise. On Time.
