Another roof done right.

This one needed more than just shingles. Once we opened it up, we found multiple areas of soft decking that had to be addressed. In total we replaced 25 sheets of plywood to give the new roof a solid foundation — because a roof is only as good as what it’s nailed to.
We also installed new metal valleys so water actually has somewhere to go during our lovely Washington rainstorms. Valleys are one of the most common leak points when shortcuts get taken.
The roof was finished with Malarkey Vista architectural shingles, one of the best-performing shingles for our climate.

A lot of people don’t realize how much moss, pine needles, and debris can affect a roof over time.

When it builds up like this, it holds moisture, backs water up in the gutters, and slowly breaks down the shingles. That’s how small issues turn into leaks and expensive repairs, or avoidable replacements.

Maintenance is quieter than replacement.
