Sharing this special project I built for a friend - a sensory board! Our friend owns a daycare and the babies are moving into a new room soon and she wanted to give them something new to play with. The Sensory Board has common everyday objects that babies LOVE to play with. This project had to be kid friendly and safe - No cuts, pinches, pokes, or splinters! Here is my latest work; a cat tree for a good friend of the family. It features several carpeted levels for the cats to play and climb, complete with a hammock for sleeping and scratching posts for those itchy paws. I added a couple of hanging ropes to capture their attention. If you want or know of someone who wants a cat tree but hates department store prices, send me a message!

One of my earlier Cat Tree projects. This prototype version includes a hiding place for the shy sneaky cats and a hallow tube for that surprise attack from above. The two elevated circular pads create a 'I'm bigger than you' perspective for the happy playmates.
