This location at the Henry Doorly Zoo required our 135G with an auger attachment to drill down 12' deep holes by 36" diameter. Due to the close proximity of the shafts to the existing building, our conventional drills could not get close enough.

Kudos to our crews for working with JE Dunn and the Zoo to safely and professionally complete this project!!!

Everyone here at Sadler Electric is proud to be a partner with the IADOT, HDR, City of Council Bluffs, and the various General Contractors (Hawkins, Cramer, United, Ames, and PCI) since the beginning to make this massive project a reality. It is definitely a challenging and complex set of projects. Glad that we could help build the Lighting, Signing, ITS systems, and Traffic Signals throughout these past 15 years. In the final stretch now!

We’ve come a long way! Construction on the Council Bluffs Interstate System began in 2008 and is anticipated to finish in 2024. We're proud to be a part of getting you there!
