Many homeowners have had a sales rep come into their home for two hours, put on a big presentation, tell them everything in their house is failing, and then try to pressure them into buying $1,800 windows on the spot.

The truth is — I know those tactics because I used to work for those big national window companies.
In fact, I was reprimanded more than once because I refused to use those scare tactics with homeowners.

This was a kind testimonial from a homeowner. He had a few other companies come out over the last year, and as usual they quoted him astronomical prices, everywhere from $7,000 up to $13,000 per door!!!!

When I first gave him the price, he said well that's a little bit cheaper than the next closest person, then I explained that my price was for both patio doors installed.

He was able to get two ProVia Aspect patio doors for less then the competition wanted for one door.

That is the reason why I started this company, I do things how they used to be done, how they should still be done. A high quality product should not put a homeowner into debt for the next 10 years.

Have you seen the window ads where window companies are offering $2500 in free upgrades?.
Remember the old saying nothing is free?.
Doesn't it make you wonder how much they are up-charging on their windows?.

What about buy 2 get 2 free?...
Then they give you price of $1700 per window..

Half of install, thats a common one, the installer isn't charging the company less to install it, they only make $200-$300 per window. That same company is offering 30% off your entire purchase.. what an amazing deal, then you see they are still charging $3400 per window... ouch..

Those are the actual ads being ran by 3 different companies in Omaha, even the ones that say "we won't be in your house for an hour and a half" they still will...

If they are paying for a large showroom, for professional commercials, for an office manager, sales manager, install manager, shop manager, area manager, regional manager, VP, CEO, CFO, 3 secretaries, 1-800 hotline, answering service......
They cant afford to give you deal.

The sales reps that come to your house are trained to say certain words, to be compassionate, to make you terrified that your windows will destroy your home unless you sign the contract today and most importantly, to convince you that today is the cheapest you'll ever get windows but only if you sign right now.....

It's business, right.... it's all about the numbers, about profit..

I want to make a profit too, I get it, but I don't want to make thousands per window, I want to make $100.
If you let me put a sign in your yard, recommend a friend, then I'm fine making $50 a window.

This is why I offer upfront pricing, you can look on my page, see my prices... No one else does that because they want to separate you from as much of your money as they can....

I believe in honesty, integrity and upfront pricing, so let me share a window price from my latest job.

There were several Windows of his home but I'm just going to pick one to speak about.

32x50 it was a single hung wooden window and like the rest of them it had a fair amount of rot, this one in particular would not close properly so perhaps that's why it stands out in my mind. The homeowner stated that she wishes to go to vinyl because she does not want to worry about maintenance and she chose white because she said it would brighten up the home and perhaps make the house look a little bit bigger.

I let her know that if we stayed with single hung and went to vinyl with a decent entry level window, low E, Argon we would be at $522,

I let her know that for $710 she could step up to a double hung ProVia aspect which is a very high quality window.
The lady chuckled and said she's very familiar with that window because I was the third person to come there and give her a bid with that window however, I was over $500 cheaper than the closest bid.

Until I came and gave her an estimate, she was going to go with that company, because even at $1,300 a window, they were still considerably cheaper than the other companies she had out.

We talked for a little bit longer than I said to her, these are a lot of Windows and that is a bit of money, do you want to sleep on it and get back to me in a day or two or would you like to get started today, it's completely up to you no pressure.

She asked me if I had the paperwork to get everything started with me and I said yes I do, and we got her project rolling.

This is how it's supposed to be when a person comes to your home, this is how it used to be, no high pressure sales, no sales man in your house for 2 hours trying to convince you to buy on the spot. Just honest Solutions at affordable prices.

Have you thought about getting new windows in your home? Have you had the pleasure of a sales rep coming out and using phrases such as, those are odd sized windows, those are unique windows, boy these are Big windows.
Then after inspecting them they inform you that this is a problem that needs to get fixed now, because you have a little bit of wood rot and it's going to ruin your home.
All of this is designed to get you comfortable with paying a ridiculous amount of money and making you panicked enough that you emotionally purchase the same day they are there.

Many homeowners would like a ballpark figure before spending an hour and a half with some person they've never met before, then when they Slide the estimate across the table they try to make you feel good about spending between $1400 and $3600 a window.

Think about that, replacing 10 windows is going to cost between $14,000 and $36,000. In addition to that, the sales rep is going to try to overcharge you, something that's known as overage because they get to split that with the company they work for. They are incentivized to charge more than they need to, and this is why after 20 years I stepped away. I got tired of being reprimanded because I didn't feel right playing that game with my homeowners.

It really is a dirty industry, they might charge you $1,800 for the same window that the guy down the street got for $1650, because you trusted this person that came into your home and Bob down the street didn't bite on the first offer. And Bob's neighbor got the same window for $1,575.

So this is why they don't publish their prices or give you a ballpark figure, but I will.

Energy star rated windows installed starting at $500, if you have a huge window, 4 ft x 6 ft double hung monstrosity, those are around $800, and these are high quality name brand windows, ProVia, Pella, Etc...

I had a homeowner reach out to me who had a few other companies give her a bid on a fiberglass door with designer glass. She had two very well-known companies come out and they wanted between $9,830 up to 13,265. She also had three small companies come out, and the cheapest she could get the door with installation was $3,890. This was not someone with an LLC, more than likely they probably were not licensed or insured, just Tom with a hammer and a Truck.
The crazy part is that we all pay about the same price for the product, actually the two big companies probably pay a little bit less...

Our price was $1,726.

Everybody's going to tell you that they're giving you the best deal, everybody's going to tell you that their product is the best and they're all going to tell you that if you don't buy it right now you're going to miss out on the savings.

How about this, have four or five or six other companies come out and give you a bid on your door or siding or windows, then reach out to us, message us right here on the page and see what that project should cost.
