I’ve wanted to create this for so long, and I’m so happy I finally brought it to life. I’ve always loved this music video and the quote from Lana, and it felt like the perfect inspiration for this painting.

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve shared any artwork, but I promise I’ve still been creating! 🎨✨
Lately I’ve been experimenting with Procreate, and after recreating my Diana Spencer painting digitally, I wanted to continue exploring that illustration style. This time I challenged myself by creating a larger, more detailed piece while adding extra depth and dimension to bring the artwork to life.
I’ve also been spending a lot of time by the pool this summer, and that inspired the concept for this piece. Once the idea came to me, I just had to run with it! I can’t wait to hear what you all think! 🤩💙

Recently, I have been photographing my original artwork and recreating it digitally. This allows me to easily produce high-quality prints in a variety of sizes while making my work more accessible to a wider audience. It also gives me the opportunity to make subtle refinements that would be difficult or impossible to achieve on the original piece.
One of the most rewarding parts of being an artist is continually learning and growing. Looking back at previous work often inspires new ideas or reveals details I would approach differently today. By recreating my artwork digitally, I can preserve the original while also creating an updated version that reflects how my skills and artistic vision have evolved.
