Today, we are celebrating an extraordinary milestone: 40 years in the Omaha construction industry for our CEO, Dean Jessick!

Dean’s career is a true testament to vision, hard work, and continuous growth. He began his journey in Des Moines, Iowa, before moving to Omaha, Nebraska, to lead Husker Glass. While at the helm, he built a dynamic & skilled team of employees committed to the industry, acquired SGH, Inc., launched 34 start-ups, and executed strategic acquisitions spanning technology, software development, marketing, manufacturing, fabrication, sales, product development, and distribution.

Throughout it all, Dean’s true passion has remained in construction, engineering, and architecture. Over the years, he guided SGH Concepts into the industry leader it is today, always driven by a commitment to creating lasting opportunities for team members. Ten years ago, he consolidated several of the construction-oriented entities under one company, SGH Redglaze Holdings, Inc. Recognizing the passion and commitment of his team, he led the company through an exciting ownership change: 100% of the company was sold to an ESOP Trust so that every employee would have the opportunity to become a company owner. In addition to SGH Concepts, the company has acquired Tetra Vertical Solutions of Texas, opened Top Tier Electric in Omaha and recently acquired Elward Systems of Lakewood, Colorado.

If you drive by the recently completed Methodist Physicians Clinic - North Streams, you can't miss the bright blue entryway canopy and the modern, multi-colored exterior walls.

Our crews proudly furnished and installed approximately 4,300 sq. ft. of high-quality metal panels (including aluminum plate and CENTRIA MR-3-36 single skinned metal panels) to give this building its clean, signature look. It was a pleasure partnering with Graham Construction and Holland Basham Architects to deliver this beautiful healthcare facility to our community.

Last week, the team at SGH Concepts celebrated the end of summer and the beginning of ESOP Month with a company taco lunch and our annual Bags Tournament!

It was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy some good food, and spend time connecting with our coworkers. A little friendly competition makes it even more fun!
